Bespoke Cases for Traditional Instruments

Instruments from around the world, folk instruments, instruments used for meditation or music therapy, percussion instruments, accordions: Victor Vorko pays particular attention to historic and traditional objects, with the aim of preserving them while elevating their beauty. Many have never had a case of their own—their bespoke case becomes the first.

The Making of a Case
— 01 —
The Case

Red velvet, gilded fittings – completed, it awaits its instrument.

— 02 —
The Instrument
The marquetry hurdy-gurdy settles into its exact position—the same case, made for it alone.
Closed, Ready for the Journey
Banjo

The circular body and long neck enclosed in silence.

Balalaïka
The instrument’s precise triangle, and nothing more.
Cistre
Reinforced corners, a centred handle – designed for the journey.
The Signature Gesture of This Collection
Rounded bodies, angled necks, asymmetrical cases: this is where bespoke craftsmanship truly comes into its own.
Every traditional instrument has its own geometry, balance and history. Each case is designed around these singular characteristics, with no standard template and no compromise.
A rounded body, an endless neck: a geometry with no equivalent in mass production.
